“I DON’T WANT TO BELIEVE,I WANT TO KNOW” – CARL SAGAN

Inspired by the skies and driven by passion,this society is dedicated to promoting Astronomy in Punjab,India. It came into existence on 15th of September, 2015. It is the first ever astronomical society that has been created in Punjab. It’s a dream, curiosity and hunger for the majestic mysteries of the Universe. Our motive is to inculcate scientific temperament in knowledge and truth-seeking minds by organizing observational nights and lectures in schools,colleges,villages etc.

As Carl Sagan once said “We are a way for the Cosmos to know itself”, so let us do it together.
